Sabrent Voltik Charging Station – USB Power For All Your Devices

I’m lucky to have a permanent pit space at our track and over the years, I’ve accumulated all sorts of electronic devices. Everything from battery and phone chargers to pit lights are plugged into multiple power strips and USB chargers. Needless to say, its quite the mess.

With more and more chargers supporting the USB-C Power Delivery (PD) protocol, I’ve been thinking of adopting this technology. This would not only help clean up my pit space, but simplify things at big races as I would only need to bring one power supply.

One of the marketing people at Sabrent recently reached out to me and asked if I wanted one of their Voltik charging stations for my home office. I really didn’t have a need one in my office but I immediately thought of my pit space.

The Voltik delivers a total of 252W across four USB-C (100W per port or 125W per pair) and four USB-A (18W per port) ports. It also supports a wide range of fast charging protocols including PD 3.0, PPS, QC 4.0, and QC 3.0. With modern phones, laptops and battery chargers that support these protocols, power is automatically negotiated for higher voltages and current rates.

Another thing that makes the Voltik unique is that it is equipped with a color LCD panel that shows at a glance which ports are being used and how much power each of them is drawing. You can also cycle through each port to view the voltage, amperage, temperature and charging time.

I’ve been using the Voltik as my main power source for the last few weeks and its worked great. I currently have it mounted to the wall using the included bracket and have most of my devices plugged into it. The only exceptions being my SkyRC AAA and B6ACneo chargers, which are better suited for AC power.

I also want to mention that I was able to convert my two ISDT Q6 Nano chargers over to using PD power using a USB-C to XT60 adapter cable that I purchased off of Amazon. With the Q6 Nano chargers plugged into the Voltik, the supplied voltage jumped from 12.5V to 20.2V.

Overall, I’m very impressed by Sabrent’s Voltik charging station. The device is well designed, solidly constructed and has done a great job of helping me clean up my pit space. The built in LCD panel is also a nice touch that makes the Voltik stand out from its competitors.

I had hoped to take the Voltik with me to regional races but its weight and dimensions make it better suited for the pit space at my local track. Instead, I will be looking for a smaller charging station that I can leave in my hauler bag.

The Voltik is available now and can be purchased from Amazon or directly from Sabrent for about $90.
